It should really glow! I dare to experiment and take luminous paint forthe lava. This is fluorescent paint with so-called glow effect under black light.

For this I hung a few LED spotlights with black light. However, you can only really see the glow effect in the dark, when only the black light is on. But the photos are not convincing. The colors a horror and everything looks somehow toxic.

In daylight and together with the black light, this already looks better. In nature, that is, with the naked eye, the lava was even more luminous. The camera absorbs much of the UV range of the black light.
I had best results with a Nikon D5300.
